The first part of the process was to prepare the subfloor. We did this by applying a layer of F Ball Stopgap F78 waterproof surface membrane over sections of the new concrete near the doors. This acts as a moisture inhibitor. To repair sections of the floor, we put F Ball 400 Repair Mortar into the small hollows left where floor tiles had been removed. We were then able to apply F Ball P131 Primer and F Ball 1200 Pro Smoothing underlayment. Doing this meant we were able to achieve a smooth, level surface.
