Barn Conversion Revisited and Luxury Vinyl Flooring in Shenstone, Lichfield fitted!
At the beginning of the year, All Floor One installed luxury vinyl flooring in Shenstone, Lichfield in a barn conversion. Our clients wanted the new flooring installed in the main living area and downstairs toilet. The living area was quite a large open space in contrast to the downstairs toilet, which was a more bijou room. With both areas, we were able to adapt to ensure we worked effectively and efficiently in our surroundings.
Our clients recently asked us to return for stage two of their barn conversion. This time they wanted the dining room between the main open plan living area and the kitchen to be covered. This space had a lower subfloor, so using Ardex CL, we initially did a deep fill smoothing compound with aggregate mixed through to build the height. We then put a smoothing compound over that and the existing tiles to level through everything, again using Ardex CL. This brought everything to the same height as the first floor that we completed.
